I am a PhD student at the Data Cognition Lab advised by Prof. Alex Kale. Before joining the University of Chicago, I was a programmer writer for Amazon SageMaker for two years. I did my bachelor’s in computer engineering from Mumbai University. The University of Auckland selected me for the Summer Research Program. Based on computer vision models, I worked on identifying damage to unreinforced masonry(URM) buildings. My undergraduate thesis aimed to generate 3D layouts of indoor scenarios from a single 2D panorama image using pyramid pooling. From there I went on to pursue a master’s in computer science at Arizona State University. During my time at ASU, I got the opportunity to intern at Amazon Web Services and Weights & Biases

My research focuses on creating and studying data visualizations that represent uncertainty in data to help people in data-driven decision-making.
